Tim Miles has something brewing in San Jose, California in year two as the San José State Spartans (14-9, 5-5 MWC) take down the Wyoming Cowboys (7-15, 2-8 MWC), 84-64, in a game the Spartans needed to win at home in the Provident Credit Union Event Center.

The Spartans played well tonight on both ends of the floor, and shot 56.6% (30-for-53) from the field, including making 11-of-22 (50.0%) from 3-point range and 13-of-15 (86.7%) at the free throw line.

Moore also recorded two blocks which moves him in a tie for 5th all-time at SJSU with 81 blocks. He’s tied with Chris McNealy who played for SJSU from 1981-83. Moore also scored his 1,000th career point with the Spartans, making him the 16th player in program history to reach that mark.
Sage Tolbert III finished with 14 points, Alvaro Cardenas finished with 13, Ibrahima Diallo and Trey Anderson each finished with 10 points respectively to round out the double-figure scorers for SJSU.
If you can’t root for SJSU at this point, then your rooter is busted and you’re missing a great story going on.
