The Wisconsin Badgers women’s hockey team are the 2023 National Champions!!! GO CRAZY, MADISON! GO CRAZY!

The Wisconsin Badgers (29-10-2) took down the No. 1 overall seeded Ohio State Buckeyes (33-6-2) by a final of 1-0 from AMSOIL Arena in Deluth, Minnesota!
This is the seventh National Championship in program history, which is the most in NCAA Division 1 Women’s Hockey. This also marks the 33rd National Championship for the University of Wisconsin Athletic Department.
I give all the credit to head coach Mark Johnson. The Badgers lost five consecutive games in January and he kept the team together, kept belief in the system and took down the top three overall seeds in consecutive games en route to the title. Unbelievable.
The University of Wisconsin is holding a “Welcome Home” event in celebration tomorrow, Monday March 20th, at LaBahn Arena.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the event will start at 6:00 p.m., with a short program following and celebration!
ON WISCONSIN!!!
