Two years ago today, the Milwaukee Bucks won the 2021 NBA Title, which was their first championship since 1971. I was fortunate enough to be able to witness it in person!
It really happened. It wasn’t a dream.
It was one of the most enjoyable events I’ve ever been to, if not the most enjoyable.
I can confidently say that there was at least 110K people outside of Fiserv Forum that night, on top of the sellout crowd inside the stadium. Any report that says 60K is completely incorrect.
That night we got an all-time NBA Finals performance from Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The moment the Bucks were champs…
“It’s over, the Bucks have done it. The long wait has ended. After a half century, the Milwaukee Bucks are NBA Champions once again.”
Chills, every single time.
It was the most enjoyable spring & summer out here because the entire state was alive. I really hope we’ll get to experience another run like in 2021 soon!
