So WordPress had a daily prompt asking “Why Do You Blog?” Well, other than the obvious that because I can, I did some thinking as to why I write these articles & publish them.
There’s a few reasons why I enjoy writing these blogs.
This website has been a place where I can post my thoughts on anything, whether it be movies, books, sports, you name it. Obviously, there will be people who’s opinion’s & viewpoints differ from mine on whatever the subject at hand is, & that’s perfectly fine. The fact of the matter is this: we’ll never see eye to eye 100% of the time with everyone. There will be disagreements & there’s nothing wrong with that!
Other than Twitter, I don’t use social media hardly at all. I never use Facebook, unless it’s to post a blog that I just published or to contact someone who’s number I don’t have, I rarely post pictures/videos on Instagram. So Twitter & this website are my two outlets.
So sharing my thoughts on here or venting or whatever the case may be is definitely a nice thing to have.
I’ve very much enjoyed writing these blogs & be able to reach people that have been able to relate to some of my posts & build a community. The fact that people actually read my blogs is amazing!
My hope is that with my blogs that I can continue to touch those who are going through or have been through the things I have published on this journey called life & can relate to me.
Another big reason I continue to blog is because of you lovely people that continue to read my blogs & show me some love! Without all of you, this website wouldn’t be possible!
