As I get this column started, I’d like to remind you all of my Patreon community. That community is a big part of my website & my other social media accounts (YouTube, Twitch, etc.). It’s a great & cheap way of supporting me. If you’d like to become a member, you can go to https://www.patreon.com/nickobot.
So if you follow my blog or any of my other social media accounts, you probably know by now that I’m a diehard Green Bay Packers (& Wisconsin Badgers + Milwaukee Bucks) fan. I probably take my fandom to the extreme, for better or for worse.
As many of you know, it takes a lot out of me to socialize & it’s hard for me to do, especially if it’s with people I don’t know or that aren’t in my ‘inner circle.’ But on Saturday, December 2, I decided to head up to TitleTown District right across the street from historic Lambeau Field, also known as the best stadium in the world.
I’m sure you’re asking…Why did I do this?
Well, Aaron Nagler & Corey Benhke of Cheesehead TV had a CHTV community get together. Also, a big shoutout to Sharlene Lim for making this meet up possible!
The vibes were awesome!
Andy Herman of Pack-a-Day Podcast made an appearance there as well.
I was fortunately able to have lengthy conversations with Nags, Benhke & Herman individually about everything….life, weather, the Green & Gold, you name it.
Great people & great content! First class. I highly recommend checking their YouTube channels out if you’re a Packers fan.
It was probably a good thing I had to make the 94 mile drive home when the event was over, because some of the people were trying to get me a little too sauced up.
I was also able to meet a few Packers fans that showed up. This franchise has brought so many people together. People came to the event (& for the game tonight against the Taylor Swifties) from all over the state, country & world.
Packers fans are everywhere.
Packer Nation…We truly are the best fans in the world.
For you non-Packers fans reading this, you should do some soul searching & become a Packers fan too!
Now I’ll be antisocial today to recharge my battery a little bit.
Until next time, GO PACK GO!
