I needed to digest the Green Bay Packers (6-7) 24-22 Monday Night loss to the New York Giants (5-8) for a bit. I’m just very disappointed. Eating a pint of ice cream doesn’t sound so bad right now.
The Green Bay Packers beat the Green Bay Packers at MetLife Stadium. I wish the lord took me during that football game.

Entering Week 14, the Giants had allowed 69 sacks in 12 games, the highest sack rate in the NFL (16.4%). The Packers defense had zero sacks against them.
The Packers defense gave up 200+ rushing yards for the fourth time this season. Four times in 13 games! That’s 30.7% of the season they’ve allowed two bills on the ground! To add on to this, the unit has given up 140+ rushing yards in five straight games.
For all the Joe Barry frustration, & it was more than justified on Monday night, Rich Bisaccia has the worst unit on this Packers team & I’m not sure it’s close.
It was a really odd game from Jordan Love too. He didn’t look comfortable for the first two & a half quarters before settling in a bit & playing well, particularly in the fourth quarter.
Three turnovers, 2-for-5 in the Red Zone, missed field goal, no sacks, giving up 209 rushing yards – that’s how you lose games.
It’s gut check time for the Packers. This Monday Night game was not an acceptable performance in any phase of the game.
Also, the NFL needs to figure their stuff out. Having two MNF games kickoff at the exact same time & forcing a split screen down our throats when you have only one of the two games on your television is ridiculous. Figure it out! If I wanted to watch both games, I would have put it on split screen myself!
