Hofstra University Hires Susan Cassidy-Lyke as New Softball Head Coach

Hofstra University Vice President and Director of Athletics Rick Cole Jr. announced the hiring of Susan Cassidy-Lyke as the next head coach of the Hofstra Pride Softball program.

Cassidy-Lyke comes to Hofstra after serving as the head softball coach and director of athletics at Molloy University (NCAA Division 2) since 2006.

During her tenure at Molloy, Cassidy-Lyke posted a 570-448-1 (.560) record, including 280-149-1 (.652) in East Coast Conference (ECC) play.

“I am incredibly honored and excited to join the Hofstra family as the head coach of such a storied and respected softball program,” Cassidy-Lyke said.
