  • Thoughts On The 2023 Milwaukee Brewers Season

Now that I’ve had some time to decompress a tiny bit from the abrupt finish to the Milwaukee Brewers 2023 season that ended in about a 28-hour span, I’m going to blog my way through it. After a 92 win regular season & a division title, the Brewers season came to an end in deflating…

  • Immediate Reaction To Green Bay Packers Loss To Detroit Lions

I’m old enough to remember a time when the Green Bay Packers never lost at Lambeau Field. Unfortunately, that’s not so much the case anymore. The Packers (2-2) got a good old fashioned ass-whooping tonight at home in prime time to the Detroit Lions (3-1), 34-20. From 1971-2014, the Detroit Lions were 5-27-1 (.167) at…

  • Green Bay Packers Fall To Atlanta Falcons

The Green Bay Packers (1-1) squandered a 12-point fourth quarter lead in a 25-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons (2-0) from Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Here’s my gut reaction: This was a demoralizing loss. The Packers left a lot of food on the table today. I still think this is a good Packers squad. I was impressed…

  • No. 19 Wisconsin Badgers Lose in Pullman

The No. 19 Wisconsin Badgers (1-1) lost 31-22 in Pullman to the Washington State Cougars (2-0). You get what you earn in this game, I believe that. The Badgers didn’t do enough to earn a win in Pullman Saturday night. Wisconsin had the opportunity so that’s disappointing. UW was sloppy in the first half &…
